My art is intuitive, curious about the influences unseen to the eye. How we feel is a different sense of perception to how we think or what we see, and I use this navigational tool to interpret the landscape and elements.

I find art in the aesthetic of all of life, encompassing the meat of daily grind and the soul of sublime effort. Life is the journey, art is a page in a living book that for me spans infinity, a page with holes in it through which one may glimpse the source of infinite non beginning. I defend my multidimensionality and can accept that I am either mad or a mistimed medieval mystic. I see dragons and westerly unicorns, ley lines, the unhappy dead leaking from graveyards…

I love the work of distilling experience to a single reference point, preferably not too rarified. I try to express the beauty and immediacy that I observe, in delight and sometimes anguish, the sweet sustenance of translucent being.
